We’re so excited to share something special with our Avery community 🤍

Last year, we welcomed some beautiful new works into our space by Newcastle-based Indigenous artist . Her pieces are more than art - they spark conversation, celebrate culture, and tell powerful stories that invite connection.

Now, Lizzy’s upcoming exhibition at Leda Gallery is almost here.

Opening Night: Saturday 28 March 2026, 6–8pm
Exhibition runs: 3 weeks

To celebrate, Lizzy is offering our Avery community an exclusive thank you: 20% off all artwork displayed in clinic - using code AVERY20.

If you’ve ever admired the artwork in our space, this is your opportunity to bring home a meaningful, story-filled piece of your own www.lizzystagemanart.com.au

We’re over the moon to have Alice, our incredible Care Team Coordinator, back with us after maternity leave, celebrating the arrival of her third gorgeous little girl!

Alice has been with Avery since the very beginning, and her return truly feels like coming home. She’s a super mum, wonderfully calm, and has that special way of making everyone feel at ease—whether you’re meeting her for the first time or catching up after some time away.

We’re so excited to have her energy, warmth, and expertise back with the team. Welcome home, Alice—you’ve been missed!

Recovery after surgery depends on the type of surgery, your general health, and how much you give yourself permission to lean into your recovery and take the time for your body heal.

Dr Avery will provide personalised guidance to help you plan and set realistic expectations for your recovery.

Dr Gary Avery (MED0001633092) is a registered medical practitioner with specialist registration in Surgery – Plastic Surgery and a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS). Cosmetic surgery is only one option and may not be suitable for everyone. All surgery carries risks, requires recovery time and support, and outcomes vary due to factors such as genetics, health, and adherence to aftercare. Recovery can involve discomfort, time away from work, and activity restrictions, with pain levels and healing timelines differing between individuals. Surgery should never be seen as necessary to ‘fix’ normal features or life changes such as ageing or pregnancy. A thorough consultation with an appropriately qualified health practitioner, and consideration of a second opinion, is essential.
