✨ Kindness in Action ✨

When our client—who lives with and cares for her 86-year-old mother—told us she was using a broom to help herself safely down her broken, moss-covered stairs, we knew something had to be done.

We put the word out… and the incredible Fis Fisniku from stepped forward without hesitation.

Fis generously donated his time and materials—not only to repair the steps, but to install a safe, sturdy ramp with a handrail, completely free of charge.

Our client didn’t want to be photographed, but we couldn’t let this act of kindness go unrecognised.

This is the power of community.

NDIS June 2025 Update: What You Need to Know

As the NDIS landscape continues to evolve, staying informed is crucial. Here’s a snapshot of the latest developments:

🔄 Key Changes Effective June 2025
Therapy Funding Shift: Starting 30 June 2025, therapies like occupational therapy, speech pathology, and physiotherapy will transition from Core to Capacity Building budgets. Participants should review their plans to ensure adequate allocations and consult with support coordinators for necessary adjustments.

New Funding Periods: From 19 May 2025, NDIS plans will release funds in stages—typically quarterly for Core supports and monthly for Home & Living supports. This approach aims to promote better budgeting and reduce the risk of early overspending.

Provider Registration Requirements: Effective July 2025, certain providers, including support coordinators and Supported Independent Living (SIL) providers, must be registered with the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission. This change enhances safety and accountability within the scheme.
