Applications for Polyphonic are now open!
Polyphonic is a three-day inclusive music program for young people aged 12–17. Guided by a Registered Music Therapist, participants will explore songwriting, instruments, music technology and collaboration in a fun and supportive environment. No prior musical experience is required.

Places are limited, so sign up early to secure your spot!

Polyphonic is a free school holiday music program designed for young people aged 12-17 who are interested in music. Over three days, participants will engage in 2-hour workshops facilitated by two Registered Music Therapists.

Really enjoyed being part of the Surrounding Sound Conference yesterday. Loved connecting with other creatives and came away with fresh ideas I’m excited to bring into my own work. Great to see the passion and innovation practitioners are bringing to this space.

Proud to have been part of the co-design workshop for the City of Newcastle 10-Year Cultural Plan.
I strongly advocated for greater inclusion of people with disability and young people — vital voices in shaping our city’s creative future.

One idea I put forward: Newcastle needs a dedicated Youth Venue — a space where young people can connect, create, and thrive.

Let’s make it happen.

We have a new Soundlab program starting on Wednesday the 23rd July at Windale Hub. This is a free program for all abilities - no music experience required 🎵

Here it is! Make a Change - the original song written and recorded by students in last year’s Sustainable Sounds program 🌏🎶

Over 5 weeks, with the support of Registered Music Therapist Caitlin, local high school students explored big environmental issues through music, coming up with this powerful track as their response.

Huge thanks to the Bloomberg and City of Newcastle for making the program possible, as well as our amazing Western Sydney University students Rhys and Louise.
