Hello and Happy New Year!

Just a quick reminder that we’ve recently moved to a new premises at 27 Marton Street, Shortland. All sessions will be held at this location.

We’re so excited to make this space our own and look forward to welcoming you there as you return from the holidays!

Kyra had a fantastic time last week with Creativity Australia at their Community Choir Facilitator Training in Melbourne🎵

Kyra spent 2 days learning from other community choir facilitators, expanding repertoire, making connections and of course, singing 🎶

This year, we are very excited to share that we will be running a With One Voice Choir in Newcastle. No experience needed, open to all!

It takes a village..
Due to roof repairs at the studio, all sessions on Monday 8 December and Tuesday 9 December will be held at Rasa Lila Arts, 27 Marton St, Shortland.

A massive shout out to Carlin’s mum for jumping in today to help get the grounds looking nice and tidy while Carlin mowed. Absolute legend.

Last week Kyra and Carlin presented to the Calvary Mater clinical team on the role of music therapy in palliative care.
It was a great opportunity to share how music can support comfort, connection and quality of life during such important moments.

Drum roll please… We’re launching a BRAND NEW CHOIR in Cardiff! Starting Monday 1 December, we’re thrilled to be partnering with Aruma and With One Voice Australia to bring With One Voice Newcastle to life.

We’re so excited to announce our RMT Kyra McMorrow as the choir’s conductor. This choir is for Everyone - no auditions, no prior experience and no special skills or talent are required to join a With One Voice choir. Everyone is welcome. Please help us spread the word!

We had a lovely visit from a high school student yesterday who interviewed us about music therapy and how it supports people in different ways. Kyra shared insights from her work at PAMT, and it was great to see such genuine interest in the profession.
