Get lost in nature ... really and truly ... and many of the challenges of our contemporary cultures subside
We turn our focus aside from them and they dwindle 🌱 and we let other parts grow

Let me begin by saying we are not outside for 4-6 hours everyday. We aim for 4-6 hours outside at least three to four times a week (a little more in the nicer months and a little less in the worse...

L’il Yogis and Teen Yogis

Hi, I’m Treena, I’m an educator, a yogi and a mother with over 20 years' experience in teaching. I’ve created L’il Yogis with kids and teens in mind - I wanted to create experiences and environments for young people which feel safe and calm, where kids and teens can express themselves through movement, sound and story-making and offer them a chance of self-discovery through yoga and mindfulness. I appreciate environments which allow for individuality and freedom of expression so I created this for myself too!

I am passionate about children’s wellbeing and I believe young people need freedom to play and explore, time to listen and wonder, inspiration and confidence to express themselves. When children and adolescents are allowed opportunities to pause and to simply imagine, they develop awareness of their own thoughts, increased ability to select their experiences, to monitor their environment and to simply be their creative and independent selves.

I love how yoga and mindfulness practices connect us with the natural world and with each other in ways that are authentic, patient and kind. I will always frame our experiences around these qualities and often delve into nature for inspiration.
