I qualified in the UK in 2005 and was fortunate enough to use this skill as part of my role as a Family Support Worker for many years. ge with their baby confidently and with the relevant knowledge. During the course you will learn:
*The benefits of Infant Massage
*Times when massage is/is not ok- learn babies cues
*Oils- which type to use & why
*The strokes for each body part and their benefits
You will be provided with:
*A bottle of cold pressed organic oil
*A handout of the strokes
*Certificate of completion
*Refreshments
What you need to bring:
*You & your baby!!(also partner/friend/grandparent if you wish)
*A towel/blanket for baby to lie on
*Your usual bag of nappies/wipes/change of clothes etc
