The Director & Psychologist at Novel Aspects Psychology, Michael Feehan 🧠👥
Michael has a passion and interest in understanding the complex impacts of social, environmental, situational, and historical factors on the emotional, behavioural, and interpersonal aspects of individual experience. His experience spans working with clients of all ages, assisting them through challenges such as depression, anxiety, anger, and addictions, to stress, relationship difficulties, and more. Additionally, Michael has had the privilege of working with neurodiverse individuals across all age groups.
Michael takes a person-centred and humanistic therapeutic approach, where individuals are recognised as being experts in their own experience. Integrated elements of Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), with a primary focus on employing a Narrative approach.
Outside the professional sphere, Michael cherishes moments spent with his children and family, indulging in reading, and maintaining an active lifestyle, including enjoying various sports.
Michael is dedicated to working with clients aged 12+ and above.
