I have a passion and interest in understanding the complex impacts of social, environmental, situational, and historical factors on the emotional, behavioural, and interpersonal aspects of individual experience. My experience spans working with clients of all ages, assisting them through challenges such as depression, anxiety, anger, and addictions, to stress, relationship difficulties, and more. We have a new face working within the Novel Aspects Psychology Clinic! Welcoming Jen 👏
Having completed her Master’s in Educational and Developmental Psychology and endorsed as an Educational and Developmental Psychologist, Jen has been working in private practice since 2022.

Jen loves paddleboarding and jetty jumping 💦

Jen aims to work collaboratively with children, adolescents, families and schools for the best outcomes. Assessments are curated to individual needs and are completed to help develop a sense of identity. These are completed with the understanding that autism, ADHD and other forms of neurodiversity are naturally occuring variations of the human neurotype.

Jen utilises modalities such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (modified for children), Mindfulness, play therapy and creative based therapies. All these are used flexibly and modified to suit the individual needs of the children or adolescents. Rapport, trust, safety and non judgmental curiosity are prioritised 🙏

The month of Christmas is upon us! While this is a joyful time for some, it can be challenging for others 🩶

Checking in on the people around us can make a bigger difference than we realise, and the holidays are a perfect moment to spread a little extra care. Whether it’s sharing a meal, donating, or simply being kind! 🎁✨

We are taking new clients at our Newhaven clinic!

✨ 4-12 year-olds.
✨ NDIS funded.

🧠 Coping strategies
🧠 Interoceptive awareness
🧠 Empowerment
🧠 Building a positive identity
🧠 Emotional regulation
🧠 Self advocacy
