Every time I post food like this, my inbox blows up with:
📩 “How do you eat like this and still have abs?”
📩 “I just gained 3kg looking at that”
📩 “Surely that’s not healthy 😂”
Here’s the truth 👇
⚖️ Yes, the scale might spike tomorrow — but it’s not body fat.
It’s just:
✔️ Water retention from sodium
✔️ Carb storage → glycogen + water in muscles
✔️ Extra gut content (more food in your system)
✔️ Hormonal fluctuations (especially for women)
🌊 And here’s the good news: it’s all temporary.
• Gut content clears
• Water retention drops
• Glycogen stabilises
• Weight trends back down in 1–3 days
💡 One high-calorie meal ≠ fat gain.
Just like one salad won’t give you abs, one dinner won’t ruin them. Fat gain takes a consistent surplus over time.
