As we reach the end of another year at HB Aesthetics, my overwhelming feeling is gratitude. This beautiful clinic of ours has continued to grow, evolve & hold space for so many, and it wouldn’t be possible without the incredible women who keep it all moving like a well oiled machine!

To Mia, Allysse, Bree and Kyli — THANK YOU, you are all amazing! You have each shown remarkable dedication, professionalism and heart. You have held the fort, supported one another, and ensured our clients continue to feel seen, cared for and genuinely looked after.

As we move into the final weeks of the year, our appointment books are now fully booked through to December. We are continuing to work through our extensive waitlist and will always do our very best to accommodate each person wherever possible. Thank you for your patience and understanding during this exceptionally busy period.
Clients booking online are welcome to add themselves to the waitlist. However, we strongly recommend securing an appointment in January as well, in the event we are unable to bring you in sooner. This helps ensure you don’t miss out on the care and consistency you are used to.
This year looks a little different for us as Heidi steps back to focus on her health during what is traditionally our busiest season. We know this naturally increases wait times, and we are deeply grateful for your kindness, support and loyalty as we navigate this together.

What is it and why are people talking about it?

It is sometimes also referred to as polydeoxyribonucleotide (PDRN) in certain formulations. Both PN and PDRN are DNA fragments derived from salmon or trout s***m (a highly purified, biocompatible source). Originally developed in South Korea, it’s often referred to as a “skin booster” and is designed to assist the skin’s natural repair processes from within.

What does it actually do?

A N A F T E R N O O N F O R U S ……
This month marks 1 year in our beautiful new clinic.
To celebrate we pampered, we trained, we ate, we 🥂 and man we laughed.
I am so proud of what we have created and I am so beyond grateful for each of the woman that I work with, smart, strong, kind, beautiful and always have each others backs.
It was not the easiest start to the year personally but the team that has been built has had my back every step of the way and I am grateful for each of you. So Thankyou ladies, from the bottom of my heart, Thankyou!

Got my face needled this morning…

Nothing allowed on it for the rest of the day, so I’ll be at swimming lessons this afternoon looking like I fell asleep on sandpaper.

Here’s the thing, it actually works.

Microneedling is one of those treatments that helps your skin do what it used to do on its own. It boosts collagen, smooths texture, softens lines, and gives your skin that “something’s different but I can’t put my finger on it” glow.

In midlife, that’s gold.

Most days, though?
Cleanse, oil, sunscreen, BB cream. That’s it.
No 12 step regime. Just what works.

Midlife skincare is way less relaxing than the facials I had in my 20s…

If you’re up for it, I highly recommend at Newport. You will need to be consistent for it to work well. I find every 6-8 weeks does the trick 😉
