๐ MEET LUCIE ๐
Lucie is a transdisciplinary clinician with a unique background in education and mental health. She holds a Master of Speech Pathology from La Trobe University and is a certified practising member of Speech Pathology Australia.
Lucieโs clinical experience spans mainstream and specialist educational settings, private practice, and tertiary-level mental health services. Her approach is deeply informed by her work in a Child and Youth Mental Health Service (CYMHS), where she provided mental health assessments and therapeutic interventions within a family-based model.ย
Lucie collaborates closely with the support systems surrounding young people, including working directly with parents and caregivers in 1:1 capacity-building sessions or alongside them during sessions with the young person. She is committed to celebrating successes and strengths, helping families and support systems feel confident in fostering growth and connection.
Specialising in the intersection of mental health and communication, Lucie is passionate about supporting young people in expressing their needs and feeling understood. Her practice is rooted in neuro-affirming and trauma-informed care, emphasizing safety, trust, and empowerment for both young people and their families.
Outside of clinic life, Lucie enjoys spending time with family and friends and indulging in her love of good food.
Welcome back Lucie ๐
