Alaska after his first Bowen session over the weekend. He had a lot of big releases and needed some extra time to remain in the zone! He is normally one to walk straight off once the halter is removed, so this was big for him!

My name is Tegan Davis and I have spent my life surrounded by our 4 legged friends.

Graduating with a Bachelor of Equine Science in 2019 from Charles Sturt University, it was during this period I discovered a passion for equine body work and rehab.

After graduating from Charles Sturt, I wanted to broaden my knowledge of the horse and found work at a thoroughbred stud, which I loved. I found working with and educating young horses to be extremely enjoyable and rewarding. With a thirst for knowledge and a real drive to improve the wellbeing of our 4 legged friends, I completed my training at the start of 2023 and am now proudly a qualified Equine Bowen Therapist (ISBT).

Bowen Therapy is a gentle modality, using a series of specific moves over the fascia. This stimulates a response on tendons, joints, lymphatic system and the deep muscles. This can be effective for muscle stiffness and injury, improving joint mobility, improved balance and overall general health. Bowen therapy can be beneficial for horses of any age, from pets to high performance horses.

I will be servicing the following areas:
Newstead, Maldon, Castlemaine, Harcourt, Clunes, Avoca, Daylesford, Maryborough and Lockwood South.
