🤝 Extending Our Hands, Sharing Their Mission — First Point Healthcare Supporting Shekinah House Inc with Love and Gratitude ❤️🍞

At First Point Healthcare, we believe healthcare goes beyond clinic walls — it’s about caring for the whole person and supporting our community in every way we can. That’s why we’re proud to partner with Shekinah House Inc and join Louise and her team, a grassroots organization that runs free bread distributions and many other services across Tasmania to support individuals and families doing it tough 💪👨‍👩‍👧‍👦.

To help strengthen their incredible work, we’ve welcomed a donation box 🧺 at our reception. We’ve placed our first contribution 💌, and we warmly invite our patients, friends, and families to donate what they can 🙏. Every small act adds up to something truly powerful 💖. This is more than just bread — it’s about dignity, care, and community 🏡.

Moving forward, we are committed to hosting an annual fundraising event 🎉 every April 14th, marking the anniversary of First Point Healthcare 🎂. It will be our way of giving back to Shekinah House Inc and honouring the shared values of compassion and service that unite us 💞.

We also proudly continue our support through Beaconsfield Family Medical Practice, where we first joined hands with this cause in December 2024, ensuring bread runs continued every alternate Sunday in front of the Beaconsfield practice, led by Shekinah House Inc. 🗓️. That experience has only deepened our belief in the importance of local care 🩺, and we’re grateful to carry that spirit forward here at First Point Healthcare 🌱.

🩺 Meet Dr. Abiola – Joining First Point Healthcare from July 21st, 2025! 🩺

We’re thrilled to welcome Dr. Abiola, who will be joining our team as a General Practitioner later this month! 🎉

Dr. Abiola is a highly experienced and compassionate GP dedicated to providing holistic, patient-centred care. With over five years of clinical experience, he brings a calm, knowledgeable, and approachable presence to every consultation.

He completed his MBChB in Nigeria and later earned a Master of Public Health (MPH) at the University of New South Wales, Australia. Dr. Abiola has a strong passion for preventative medicine and is committed to supporting patients in all stages of life.

🌿 When he’s not seeing patients, Dr. Abiola enjoys staying active, connecting with his community, and making time for wellness and reflection. 🧘‍♂️📚
