Bellies & Bubs prides itself on providing safe, beneficial and individually tailored treatments for 2nd & 3rd trimester of pregnancy, birth preparation and new mums up from 6 weeks until 2 years post-birth. Bellies & Bubs offers the only venue of it's kind in the Toowoomba Region. From the moment you enter the small studio, you'll feel a sense of calm, as your senses take in the subtle aromas of essential oils and soothing music nurtures your soul. Leah O'Malley, is the business owner and currently the Sole Practitioner at Bellies & Bubs, with over 20 years experience as a Remedial Massage Therapist, Reflexologist and 17 years experience as a Yoga Teacher and Doula (Birth Attendant - non-medical). Leah's knowledge, passion, care and guidance, within the areas of maternity and postpartum care; has built a reputation of trust and respect with Private Midwives, Midwives within the MGP at Toowoomba Base Hospital, Private Obstetricians, Chiropractors, Physiotherapists and Naturopaths in Toowoomba and the Darling Downs. Bellies & Bubs has provider recognition with all Private Health Funds, except for Defence Health and has all relevant Insurances and Financial Association membership and accreditation. Bellies & Bubs achievements within the Community includes being nominated in 2010 as a Finalist in the Lifestyle Category of the Business Excellence Awards in Toowoomba and is an avid supporter of Various Fundraising events and Maternity and Parenting Associations within the Community.

A little update from Bellies & Bubs 🩵

Sadly, Christal will no longer be offering beauty spa rituals within Bellies & Bubs.

It’s been such a joy having her beautiful presence and caring hands in the space, and we wish her all the very best as she moves into her next chapter. 💛

My focus will now centre on deeply nurturing massage, and some beautiful holistic, deeply rooted, safe and supported spa rituals for women at every stage — from fertility and pregnancy through to birth preparation and labour support, postpartum and beyond.

These will be available soon.

Your safety and wellbeing are always my first priority.

Massage is a beautiful and supportive therapy, but there are times—particularly during pregnancy or with certain health conditions—when it may not be safe to proceed.

I kindly ask that you take a moment to read and understand the contraindications, before your appointment.

This is readily available on the website, with links to this information on the treatment type booking page and provided in all booking confirmation and reminder emails.

We know it can feel disappointing to find out on the day that treatment isn’t possible, but it also has financial implications as the space can’t be filled at short notice.

Please know this comes from a place of care and responsibility—we want every treatment to be safe, nurturing and supportive for you.

It’s important that each client takes responsibility for their own health in this way.

It’s in the hands that carry both strength and tenderness, that slowly age with every life they’ve touched.

It’s in the back that aches quietly after hours of holding space.

It’s in the late-nights writing up notes and treatment plans, the gentle follow-ups, chasing intake forms, the reschedules woven around lives in motion.

What a beautiful day today at The Nesting Place. ✨

This morning I held space for a pregnant Mumma, her body softening and preparing for the journey ahead.

Later, I welcomed a new Mumma back into my care — a 2hr Mumma’s cocoon spa ritual — a beautiful woman whose birth I had the honour of supporting not so long ago.

There’s something so tender about these moments… watching the circle unfold, from the quiet anticipation of pregnancy to the deep, raw, sacred love of early motherhood.

To be invited in, to witness, to nurture, to hold — it is a gift I never take for granted. 🌸

My heart is full ❤️
