Hair loss can affect both men and women, and may be influenced by factors such as age, genetics, hormones, stress, or nutritional deficiencies. At TX Bar, our team offers personalised consultations to discuss hair and scalp concerns.
Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) is one procedure we use to support hair growth. PRP is prepared using your own blood that has been placed in a centrifuge to extract plasma which contains growth factors that are being studied for their role in tissue health and repair. Vitamin C and Zinc are essential nutrients that support normal cell and immune function, these Vitamins can be infused intravenously if oral intake is inadequate and can be performed in conjunction with PRP.
PRP treatment may not be suitable for everyone and the number of sessions required to achieve a result will vary based on individual circumstances. A minimum of three sessions is generally recommended. Possible risks can include discomfort, swelling, bruising, or infection at the injection site. Individual results may vary and not all patients will respond to treatment.
Book a consultation with one of our Registered Nurses to learn more about your options and whether this treatment is appropriate for you.
