We’re really excited to welcome Ann from Nurture & Restore Remedial Massage to Bay City Health.

Ann brings a fantastic blend of clinical skill and calm, thoughtful care, with experience across both clinical and spa environments and a strong focus on treating the body as a whole. Many of you have been asking for remedial massage at the clinic for a long time, so it feels like the perfect fit.

Ann will be working out of our space every Friday and Saturday.

If you've heard about Circuit Pilates at Bay City Pilates and wondered what it actually involves, this one's for you.

Circuit is one of our most structured, most satisfying class formats, designed to work for a genuinely wide range of people. Whether you're walking through our doors for the first time or you've been moving consistently for years, there's a place for you in this class.

Every Circuit session is divided into three clear sections, each running for 15 minutes.

Cue cards and looped screens keep you informed throughout, so there's no guesswork and no moment where you feel lost.

1️⃣ Section one is clinical-based movement. Intentional, controlled work focused on alignment, stability and body awareness. It sets the foundation for everything that follows.

2️⃣ Section two moves you onto the Reformer, building strength, mobility and control through guided exercises. Our instructors are on the floor throughout, watching your form and offering cues so you're always moving with purpose.

3️⃣ Section three brings you to our NOHRD strength training equipment. A premium Scandinavian brand, this section supports functional strength and cardiovascular fitness in a way that feels grounded and intelligent.

Every section has a clear purpose, every movement has a reason, and every class is guided by people who genuinely understand how the body works.

It's one of the questions we hear most often, and it's a completely fair one to ask.

Osteopathy is a hands-on, whole-body approach to healthcare that looks at how your muscles, joints, connective tissue, and nervous system all work together. Your osteopath doesn't just treat the area that hurts. They look at how your entire body is moving and adapting, and work to understand what's driving the problem rather than simply managing symptoms.

There's a reason why treating just the painful part rarely gives people the lasting relief they're looking for.

The body doesn't work in isolation. Your lower back pain might be connected to how your hips are loading. Your neck tension might be linked to how you're breathing or how your thoracic spine is moving. Your recurring headaches might have more to do with your posture and nervous system than anything happening in your head.

This is the foundation of how we work at Bay City Health Group.

We get asked a lot: what's the difference between Bay City Health and Bay City Pilates?

Bay City Health Group is our osteopathy and rehab clinic. It's where personalised, hands-on care happens. Osteo, exercise rehab, Clinical Pilates, and 1:1 support for people managing pain, recovering from injury, or working through something that needs proper, thoughtful attention.

Bay City Pilates is our group Pilates studio. Reformer, Mat, and Circuit classes in a space that feels welcoming from the moment you walk in. Allied-health-led, structured, and genuinely good for your body.

The two work together naturally. A lot of our community moves between both, using osteo care to address what's going on and Pilates to build on it.
