What is the TED device used for?

At RiverEnd, we use the Alma TED device as part of our approach to managing hair thinning and scalp health.

It’s a non-invasive technology designed to support hair restoration by delivering active ingredients into the scalp using ultrasound energy.

This process helps improve scalp health and support the environment around the hair follicle, which is an important factor in hair growth and thickness over time.

It can be suitable for both men and women experiencing hair shedding or thinning.

The treatment is comfortable, needle-free, and requires no downtime, making it an accessible option for many patients.

As always, suitability depends on individual factors, so a consultation is essential to assess your concerns and discuss appropriate options.

For bookings, text 0418 398 296 or visit our website (link in bio) to book a consultation or a return client appointment.

Disclaimer: Please remember that every patient is unique, all procedures carry risks, and results may vary. A consultation is required before any treatment to discuss any concerns you have and assess whether the treatment suits you.

Why do we focus on regenerative aesthetics at RiverEnd?

Regenerative aesthetics isn’t about chasing trends or quick fixes; it’s about working with your skin to support its structure, function, and resilience.

By stimulating your body’s own repair processes, whether through collagen-boosting treatments, skin needling, Rejuran, Ultherapy, or other evidence-based options, we can address skin quality and improve texture and tone.

This approach allows us to deliver treatments that are personalised, sustainable, and appropriate for your skin because aesthetics should always complement overall skin health, not compromise it.

At RiverEnd, it’s less about “more” and more about what’s right for your skin.

Are you looking to address the appearance of fine lines or wrinkles around your eyes and forehead?

Ultherapy is a non-surgical, evidence-based option that works with your body to maintain a natural, age-appropriate appearance.

Using advanced ultrasound technology, it targets the layers of tissue that need support, stimulating your own collagen and elastin production.

It’s precise, personalised, and non-invasive with no incisions, needles, or anesthesia required, and most patients experience minimal downtime.

At RiverEnd, we tailor every session to your individual skin and goals, prioritising safety, subtlety, and natural-looking outcomes.

I recently attended the Merz Aesthetics ANZ KOL Masterclass in Sydney, alongside colleagues from across Australia and New Zealand.

The day brought together plastic surgeons, dermatologists, and cosmetic physicians to share clinical experience, emerging evidence, and practical approaches across aesthetic treatments.

In an industry shaped by increasing regulation and misinformation, these opportunities for peer-to-peer discussion and scientific exchange are incredibly valuable.

I was pleased to present my perspective on the Hi5 protocol with Ultherapy PRIME at RiverEnd, and to learn from colleagues who are equally committed to research, education, and evidence-based practice.

Friday wrap up here again!

Last weekend and attended the .org.au symposium where Dr Libby gave a talk on some of her research into neuromodulating medications and their interactions with the immune system. Always an excellent conference with plenty of updates from industry experts in an ever-changing field of medicine.

New treatments in clinic - We are currently loving a Spanish skincare range, and will be updating our patient portal with information about a new skin treatment soon.

At RiverEnd Aesthetics, our philosophy is simple: thoughtful, evidence-based care that supports long-term skin health.

We focus on regenerative aesthetics and treatments guided by science, not trends.

Every consultation is centred on understanding your skin, your goals, and what is most appropriate for you.

Sometimes that means treatment, sometimes it means skincare, and sometimes it means simply offering honest advice.

Our approach is always personalised, measured, and grounded in medical knowledge.

You’ll find us at 9/400–404 Pakington St, Newtown, Geelong.

Protecting your skin today makes a real difference long-term.

Physical sunscreens work by reflecting UV rays, helping to reduce sun damage, premature ageing, and pigmentation.

That's why Synergie’s formulations combine the coverage you love in your makeup with the protection your skin actually needs.

For optimal protection, pair your skincare routine with good sun habits: reapply regularly, wear a hat and sunglasses, and seek shade when possible.

Visit us to explore our Synergie Skin collection and experience the regenerative benefits for yourself.

Synergie Skincare is available for purchase at RiverEnd Clinic:

Overall, my experience at the Ultherapy PRIME Train-the-Trainer program in Bangkok was both rewarding and intellectually stimulating.

Hosted at the Chakri Naruebodindra Medical Institute, the program brought together a small group of physicians for advanced anatomical study, cadaveric dissection, and real-time ultrasound imaging.

Ultherapy PRIME enables clinicians to visualise tissue layers during treatment, allowing precise and targeted energy delivery.

It’s one of the reasons it remains such a valued technology in our practice at RiverEnd Aesthetics.

I’m grateful for the opportunity to learn alongside respected anatomists and colleagues from across the region, all committed to advancing evidence-based aesthetic medicine.
