Hi, I’m Zali! 🤠

I’m a Therapy Assistant and Support Worker at Engage Therapy, passionate about creating meaningful connections and helping others thrive.

Originally from a small country town in NSW, I carry a deep appreciation for community, which has shaped my belief that feeling connected to both ourselves and those around us is essential for well-being.

Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of working with children and young people across a variety of settings. This experience has enriched my approach to supporting individuals with diverse emotional, relational, and developmental needs. I love helping others achieve their goals, build confidence, and feel a sense of belonging in their communities.

Currently, I’m pursuing a Master’s in Therapeutic Arts Practice, expanding my skills to support others in expressing themselves creatively and fostering positive growth. My approach is gentle, playful, and nurturing. I enjoy weaving art, sport, and humour into sessions—whether that’s through one-on-one support or group workshops.
(Keep an eye out for our rotating art-based workshops—always filled with creativity, connection, and fun! )🎨

☀️ When the sun’s out, you won’t catch me indoors! But if it’s hiding, you’ll likely find me in the kitchen experimenting with new recipes, attempting to learn Italian, or working on a creative project in my studio.

If you or someone you know would like some extra support, I am currently taking on new participants, so please feel free to reach out today! 👋

Hi, I’m Cato! 👋

I’m an Occupational Therapist and the Director of Engage Therapy and Support Services. For the past 7 years, I’ve been dedicated to supporting neurodiverse young people as they work towards their goals and navigate life transitions—whether it’s landing a job, getting a driver’s license, or moving out of home. 🚗🏠💼

I take a neuroaffirming approach that values each individual’s strengths, identity, and independence. My aim is to help young people build resilience and confidence so they can embrace life’s challenges with a sense of self-confidence.

With a focus on one-on-one and group therapy, my approach is relaxed yet purposeful. I prioritise building strong relationships and making sure sessions are both engaging and meaningful, with mental health and well-being at the core of everything I do.

When I’m not working, I enjoy playing basketball 🏀, practising yoga 🧘‍♀️, and reading in the sunshine. ☀️ I try to bring that same sense of balance into my therapy work.

If you’d like to learn more about how we can support you or someone you know, feel free to get in touch—I’d love to connect! 😊
