🤧 The flu can be serious—especially for babies, young children, older adults, pregnant women and people with certain medical conditions. That’s why everyone aged 6 months and over is encouraged to get the flu vaccine each year.

💛 Free flu vaccines are available for:
* Children aged 6 months to under 5 years
* Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people aged 6 months and over
* Adults aged 65 years and over
* Pregnant women (at any stage)
* People with certain medical conditions

👉 Get your flu vaccine from your GP or a pharmacist (ages 5+).

👶For babies and toddlers, the flu vaccine is just as important as other routine childhood vaccinations. It helps protect them from the most common flu strains and reduces the risk of severe illness and complications.

🩹Getting vaccinated also helps protect your family and the wider community by reducing the spread of flu.

🎉💚 Thank you CWA Nhill for your incredible generosity and commitment to the community! 💚🎉

🌟 We’re incredibly grateful to the Country Women’s Association (CWA) Nhill Branch for their generous donation, which is helping strengthen the rehabilitation services we offer clients across the region. 💪🦵

Our Rehabilitation Team has purchased Blaze Pods and a new hydrotherapy plinth – both already making a real difference for clients.

The Blaze Pods are interactive lights that clients tap or step on as they light up, helping build strength, balance and quick reactions for people of all ages. The hydrotherapy plinth expands the range of exercises we can offer in the pool, allowing more personalised and effective rehab in a safe, supportive environment.

👉 GET YOUR MMR VACCINATION

If you're aged 20–59, you may have only had 1 dose of the measles-mumps-rubella (MMR) vaccine in childhood. You need two doses for protection.

📄 Check your immunisation records. If you haven’t had two doses, or you don’t know, get vaccinated. Pop in to your local WWHS Centre to get vaccinated.

🛡️ No Medicare card is required to get a free state-funded MMR vaccine.

🌟 Rupanyup Nursing Home Redevelopment 🌟

We’re excited to share that Stage One of the Rupanyup Nursing Home Redevelopment is on track for completion by the end of April 2026.

To mark this important milestone, a community opening celebration will be held ahead of residents moving in — a chance for our community to come together, celebrate the progress, and welcome residents into their beautiful new home. More details will be shared soon, so stay tuned.

Stage One includes:
🏡 Seven new rooms with private ensuites
🍽️ A shared kitchen and dining room
🛋️ A quiet lounge for rest and connection
🌿 An outdoor patio and accessible garden, complete with an open‑air pavilion

The design thoughtfully balances private retreat spaces with opportunities for connection in a warm, light‑filled, home‑like environment.

This project has been made possible through Victorian Government grant funding, alongside the incredible generosity of our local community. We are deeply grateful for the donations received, which will be directed towards equipment to further enhance the space for those who will proudly call it home.

💙 Thank you for being part of this journey with us.
