The Afternoons at Kids Hub program is a term-based group social program designed for children to build confidence, independence, and social communication skills in a supportive, play-based environment.

The program provides opportunities for children to practise interaction, teamwork, and regulation skills in a safe space with guidance from qualified allied health professionals.

💭What’s Included?
- Pickup and transport from school/childcare
- Afternoon snack
- An inclusive and social environment for children ages 4-12 years
- Suitable for neurodiverse children and developmental or social-emotional delays/differences
- A variety of play-based activities
- Support from Speech Pathologist, Literacy and Learning Therapist, Occupational Therapist, and Allied Health Assistant

Looking for a role where you can make a real difference every day? Join our team at Melaleuca Therapies and help support children, families, and communities across East Arnhem Land 💛

✨ About the Role
As an Allied Health Assistant, you’ll work alongside our clinicians to deliver therapy programs that support client growth and wellbeing. No two days are the same — from running therapy activities to preparing resources and supporting clients in the community.

🙌🏼 What You’ll Do
• Support therapy sessions (1:1 and group)
• Prepare therapy materials and resources
• Help maintain a safe & welcoming clinic space
• Assist with client transport when needed
• Provide admin & day-to-day clinic support

🌏 Where You’ll Be
Based in the beautiful Nhulunbuy, East Arnhem Land, working across local and remote communities. Expect a dynamic, hands-on role where adaptability is key!

🔎 We’re Looking For Someone Who Is:
• Organised, proactive & reliable
• A strong communicator & team player
• Comfortable working independently when needed
• Passionate about helping others
• Experienced in allied health support (or similar)

➕ Bonus points if you have knowledge of NDIS or child development!

📌 Requirements
✔️ Relevant experience or certification
✔️ Driver’s licence & willingness to travel
✔️ Working with Children & NDIS clearances (or ability to obtain)
✔️ First Aid (or willingness to get one)
