After years of hard work and dedication, we have some exciting news to share! Lorenzo has finished recording a remarkable new album in Italy and it is now available for you all to hear! 🎷🎹🪘🎻🎺

We know you have loved Lorenzo's music for many years now, however this is going to take your love to a brand new level.

Through his depth of skill and understanding of music, Lorenzo has composed, arranged and directed this new album to birth exceptional music that invites the listener into his interpretation of a modern day ceremony. This ceremony is one of healing and reconciliation - a responsibility each of us hold.

Today we write to you seeking your support.

In just a few days, Djapirri and Maeve will be heading to a very remote island community in Arnhem Land called Milingimbi.

For the past year, we have been sending a supply of balms to the Milingimbi community to help with healing bites, sores and skin disorders. We have received the most incredible feedback from the community with reports of children coming to school to get some much loved and trusted Nämbarra balm on their sore skin to help with speedy recovery. “Magic Yolngu miḏitjin’” it has now been favourably called.

Over the last couple of months we have gathered the necessary funds to pay for our flights and will be donating as many large balms as we can, however we know you’d like to be a part of this wonderful cause too.

With your support and generosity, we are hoping to bring as many large balms with us to the community and local school to help with reducing skin infections.

If you can afford it, we would LOVE for you to buy a balm to be gifted to the children and community of Milingimbi.

What an incredible gift it is to sit around the gurtha (fire) and hear Djapirri Mununggirritj speak. She is the most beautiful well of wisdom.

A big thank you to all you beautiful people who came to listen and learn. It’s a very special experience when we all drop into such a special place in our heart.

Our next fire circle will be after Garma Festival. We’ll be back at the Manyimi campground at Gove Boat Club for our fire circle gathering on Thursday 15 August. You can reserve via our website - just head to our Dawala page and scroll down to the calendar.

Private traditional healings
This Friday (5 July) we still have two appointments available for a private traditional healing. An exquisite holistic healing experience for the mind, body and spirit. You can expect the most sublime 45 minutes of deep relaxation with a traditional bush medicine massage. One your body will literally soak right up.

Great to support overall health and also at targeting specific issues such as headaches, tired/sore muscles and joints, relieving stress and helping calm and moisturise dry and irritated skin to name a few.

Walk with the ancestors
During this special experience, Djapirri will guide us around Gayŋaru wetlands in the footsteps of her ancestors. We will hear ancient wisdom, we will hear stories, we will learn how to identify important bush medicine and bush tucker plants that have provided food and medicine to Yolngu for thousands of years.

On Saturday we had the absolute pleasure to walk with Djapirri Mununggirritj around such a special part of country, here on Yolngu country.

As we walked with Djapirri, her ancestors and the ancestors of this country, it came alive. The feeling was visceral.

You could feel such a beautiful presence within the trees watching as we were smoked and welcomed by Djapirri, you could hear their whispers as the wind rustled through every leaf and you could hear their laughs with every bird call. An experience so unique and very precious. With Djapirri’s leadership, the ancestors welcomed each and every one of us into a very special world.

Thank you so much Djapirri for all you share, your wisdom, your humour and your enormous generosity. You change a part of each and every one of us every single time we have the pleasure to spend time with you.

What a wonderful afternoon we had last Friday at our bush medicine workshop with Djapirri Mununggirritj here in Nhulunbuy, North East Arnhem Land.

Such fun, laughter, learning and wisdom all rolled into one lovely healing afternoon. Thank you to each and every one of you who came to join. You made it a very special experience.

The most majestic bush medicine sourced for private healings with Djapirri tomorrow morning here in Nhulunbuy, North East Arnhem Land. 🌿

This incredible plant, Butjiringaning, has been trusted by Yolngu to help relieve stiffness, discomfort and tension within the mind, body and spirit. It is gentle, soft and nourishing on the skin.

This plant has a strong spirit - speaking a love language that reaches right in to the soul. This spiritual element of plant medicine is so important to the holistic healing it provides and the ability to heal the whole. Unfortunately we overlook and disregard the spiritual element to healing in Western medicine which is why traditional Indigenous and ancient healings modalities are so potent and so important. Our spirit is as equally important to our mind and body. We need all three to be healthy for us to be truly healthy. It is impossible to be truely healthy in mind and body without being spiritually healthy.

Tomorrow, three lucky souls will have this incredibly fresh and healing plant caressing their skin from head to foot. A very special experience indeed where Djapirri and Maeve work in partnership in the most sublime traditional and ancient healing experiences.
