This is one of the most common questions we get, and the honest answer is… it takes time.

Tattoo removal isn’t a one-off treatment. Most tattoos require 6–12 sessions, spaced 6–8 weeks apart. This allows your skin to heal properly and your body to gradually clear the ink between treatments.

Why does it take so long?

Because the laser doesn’t just “erase” the tattoo. It breaks the ink into tiny particles, and then your body does the work of removing it over time.

Every tattoo is different, so your timeline can vary depending on:
• Size and placement
• Ink colour and quality
• Depth of the tattoo
• Whether it’s a cover-up
• Your body’s natural healing response

You’ll usually start to see fading early on, but full removal is a gradual process.

The key? Patience and consistency.

Rushing it won’t give you better results, doing it properly will.

You can go to someone who’ll do it for a third of the price, and at the time it feels like a win. But if they do a terrible job, go too deep, use poor quality ink, or even scar your skin… you’re now paying for it later.

Caffeine can increase skin sensitivity, which can make your treatment feel a little more intense than it needs to.

So if you can, skip the coffee beforehand and save it for after 😌
