🌻Hello community. Wow it has been a while since our incredible Spring Equinox Gathering back in late Sept. After all the intense preparations we took a long hiatus resting and recovering and basking in the magik that was EUDÆMONIA 2025!
🌺We started the day with an opening ceremony discussing the energies at play over that equinox and new moon portal and then flowed into an amazing earth altar ritual decorated by all who were there. We put our love and intention into the altar and danced around honouring the fertility of spring, our thriving community and the beautiful day ahead.
🌼Through out the day we had many local witches and wizards sharing their magikal offerings. We had local products and crafts in our Hearth Gallery and energy work, body work and divination on offer in the Temple of Isis. This year our workshop offerings doubled with The Village having all kinds of movement and crafts going and our new space this year, The Woven Nest sharing sacred feminine mysteries for all to receive. Something that was also an add on this year was The Stones Stage where we had local musicians blessing us with their frequencies through out the day. Their music could be heard through the gallery and out over the lawn where all our tents were. The day finished with a beautiful closing ceremony where our brother Omaya (who also provides our sound system) lit the fire for us to enjoy to flow into our ecstatic dance journey shared by local dj Kali. She shared her yummy beats for us all to feel nourished and celebrate the beautiful day we just all shared together.
🌷The coven is pretty pleased with ourselves as we feel this was our best year yet. Our opening ceremony was so beautiful the footage makes us want to cry! We had double the workshops on offer than last year and every one had people in them supporting the wisdom on offer. We combined forces with some local mummas who ran The Woven Nest which helped us as well knowing that was covered. We had the new music stage situated in the stone circle garden which was such a nice addition. As everything is a learning experience as have so many amazing ideas already brewing for next year.
🌻We want to say so many thank yous! Firstly to the girls at Mumma Cacao for being part of our core Coven Council this year helping bring ideas and support to our organisation. We are so blessed to have these powerhouses part of The Witches Village going forward, already with ideas and inspiration on how to add more magik to next years gathering! Special thanks to The Two Tarts for their incredible nourishing vegetarian catering through out the whole day offering snacks, lunch and dinner to all the magikal attendees. Thank you thank you thank you.
🌹I want to congratulate everyone who was involved this year and donated their time and energy to co creating this safe space for all community to attend and enjoy. Some of our facilitators presented their works, gifts and talks for the first time!!!!! A huge moment for them in their own journey of self expression and entrepreneurship.
🌼Part of the way our gathering runs is that all those who want to share and be a part of the event are required to help set up or pack down, We want to give extra thanks to those that weren’t offering anything to the gathering but still came and donated their time for setting up and packing down. We are so so so grateful to you. And of course thank you to all the witches and wizards involved who showed up for their communal shifts and contributed to co creating the infrastructure and decor for the event. We love you.
🌸Lastly special thanks to Hanging Rock Hall for having us! It’s our 2nd spring out there are we are all just so in love with the land and the grounds. Thanks Mac for keeping it looking lush. Also so much overflowing gratitude to Kat our local tent witch and The H**p Embassy for the hire of the incredible tents that really brings our village to life. Kat worked with us on set up and pack down and we couldn’t have done it without her.
🪻Going forward we have a few things already in the pipeline for next year. We are so so so grateful to all those that came and enjoyed the day. This is something we are building for the Nimbin Community and surrounds to enjoy annually. If you didn’t know about us before now we are a local group, mother daughter ran and a community co creation. Our coven supports local artists and healers and our annual spring equinox gathering is organised by volunteers. Lots of materials and time are donated to keep this event FREE for all to attend and enjoy.
🌺There are not many FREE community, conscious or spiritual gatherings these days. We fully support small businesses honouring their worth and earning money for their offerings but we also believe in the idea of magikal people coming together for the sake of wanting to gather and share, for us it’s not just about the money. Because of this unique bunch of souls with this same vision we are able to bring you one of the only family friendly, sober, free, holistic gatherings in the Nimbin and maybe even northern rivers region.
🌻Congratulations to Mikala for winning the raffle of some of our covens products and thank you to everyone who purchased raffle tickets and donated through out the gathering. These donations go towards the H**p Embassy for the hire of the tents.
