Such a lovely time today at Northey Street City Farm with a beautiful group of people coming together to learn about medicinal herbs in my sold out workshop.

We got hands-on experiencing different herbs from my garden, making oxymels, a comfrey poultice, an infused oil and a salve, talked through how to use herbs in everyday life, and just took the time to slow down and reconnect with nature a little.

I was so engrossed I forgot to take any photos at all!!

I'm not big on bread and it's been a while, but today I made another sourdough loaf. I just love it. Like a friend recently said, it's like a perfect balance between chemistry and art. And what I love about it the most: It only has 3 simple ingredients- organic flour, water and salt. Compare that to any store bought bread which these days is basically a chemical sh*tstorm!! I follow the same recipe now each time with all the stretch and folds and it never fails.
