Many people say that dogs and cats are not meant to get along but Lucy (our cat) and Charlie (our dog) don't agree.
Our relationships can be like these two best friends - if we give them a chance, opposites can give us joy and comfort.

Many of us are conditioned to take shallow breaths. It's not healthy and keeps us in the fight or flight mode.

So.... Breathe:
Inhale deeply - regardless of your worries, concerns and problems, then let it go.
Next, breathe a little slower and deeper for a few times.
Choose to remember that breathing is a gift that helps you to come to a space where you can be happy, healthy and content.
The more we practice deeper breathing, we will become healthier in our body, mind and spirit.

While I was waiting for tonight's pizza dinner, I noticed a display of Gingerbread Men for sale.
Realising that each one looked very different to it's neighbour, I found myself pondering the different expressions on their faces, the way they wore their buttons and clothing made out of icing.
They reminded me of people - some had natural smiles, were generally happy people and others had expressions mimicking pain, discomfort and dis-ease.
Thoughts of the philosopy of a Gingerbread Man being compared to his neighbour in human measures had me chuckling but the answers evaded me. Just as well as my name was called to collect my pizzas 🍕

What pushes your buttons? Or triggers you? What unnerves you - even just a little bit?
Often we are too close to the trigger and need to step back and see the bigger picture. A stranger (or someone who you trust), may be able to help you to remove the shackles that have kept you trapped in the same behavioural habits.
What is important, is to trust in yourself, seek your truth and step out of the fear that encapsulates your being.
