QEC Children are at the heart of everything we do. At QEC, we believe every child deserves the best start in life. But that’s only the beginning.

That’s why we’ve been partnering with families in Victoria for over 100 years – and are proud to be Victoria’s largest provider of early parenting services. We support families with children aged from newborn until their 4th birthday, delivering specialised services, guidance and education. Every family and child is different, so our approach is tailored to you. From residential, day-visit, and te

lehealth programs, we’ll help you find the right support at every stage. All our programs are delivered by our specialised team, made up of Registered/Enrolled Nurses, Early Parenting Practitioners, Allied Health Professionals, Social Workers, Maternal and Child Health Nurses, Mental Health Clinicians, Midwives, Psychologists, Art Therapists and General Practitioners. Parents and carers often tell us how rewarding it is to see their children’s personalities shine through during their time with us at QEC. At QEC we get to enjoy the rewards of seeing parents become more capable and bring joy back into their parenting relationships. It’s all about building confident, healthy, sustainable routines, habits, communities and families that enable children to thrive.

They’re not made for little kids, but little kids are often around them.

E-scooter and e-bike injuries are rising, and young children are often affected as bystanders or curious explorers.

So here’s what you should know:
✅ Keep scooters/e-bikes stored out of reach at home
✅ Supervise children closely around driveways, paths & garages
✅ Hold hands near shared paths and busy foot traffic areas
✅ Don’t carry children on e-scooters or bikes
✅ Ensure any older children at home are aware of safety risks

Small moments of awareness make a big difference in keeping young children safe 💛
