We're excited to welcome Jo Bennetts to the Heroes Allied Health family.

Jo brings five years of experience in occupational therapy, working across the disability support and aged care sectors. She is passionate about using a client-centred approach to help individuals regain their independence and improve their quality of life. Jo is passionate about using a holistic approach to support her clients, focusing on both physical and emotional wellbeing to help them achieve their goals.

After starting her career as a beauty therapist, Jo was inspired to pursue occupational therapy following her mother’s stroke recovery. Whilst she was studying, she spent a lot of time helping her mum with her recovery, experiencing first-hand how a person’s life can be improved through some thoughtful changes to the person’s environment. This also gave her insight into the challenges of accessing rehabilitation in rural areas and sparked her passion for helping others regain independence.

Originally from Yeppoon in Central Queensland, Jo moved to the Sunshine Coast in 2007 and loves raising her family here.

We love that Jo's values of delivering client-centred care and empowering individuals to thrive in their daily lives match ours. 😍

As we move into the "Silly Season" this is a great reminder.

There are more people about.
Everybody seems to be in a rush.
People have a lot going on.

Because most of us don't know a fraction of what's going on for other people.
