This Family Constellations workshop is a gentle invitation to pause, look a little deeper, and explore what may be shaping your life and relationships.

In a safe and supportive space, hidden dynamics can become visible - opening the door to new understanding, clarity, and a sense of release.

Who does not get stuck in old ways and old stories at times?Sometimes we beat ourselves up for the past, oftentimes we blame others, and at some point we may realise that there are also other sides to the same story and experiences.

Family Constellations is a powerful tool to see a different perspective and opens up to new possibilities.

In a workshop you are given the opportunity to be shown different aspects and perspectives from all people involved (for example your family) - through representatives. For this to happen and to shift something for yourself it is essential to come with an open heart and open mind.

The space is safe to explore and be held by the facilitator and the hearts of the whole group.

We will be entering this container again in a week from today. My heart is full of gratitude after a workshop day for witnessing the support, love and compassion the participants gift to each other, as well as the courage to show up.

The work of Family constellations gives us the opportunity to recognise where the flow of love was blocked or interrupted, and entanglements were formed.

Life happens and all kinds of different events take place in a human’s life that can create these ‘road blocks’ and entanglements.

One aim of doing a family constellation is to not judge any of those events, instead arriving at a place of acknowledgement and acceptance.

This does not mean we have to agree.
It means saying yes to the past we cannot change, finding ourselves in the present to free ourselves for the future.

Family Constellations bring this into the visible very beautifully. �In a system, everything and everyone has its place and wants to be acknowledged - just for its being.�We all know that place where we don’t want to feel something, don’t like traits of ourselves, or thinking of a person bringing up emotions we don’t want to have. Whatever it might be we reject in us will show up in our lives in different ways. Acknowledging, accepting its existence and including as part of us can bring us closer to being whole and in tune with the flow of life.

In a Constellation workshop you have the opportunity to honour the origin of inherited patterns which offers a space for blocks and limitations to unravel and for you to re-establish flow.

This might be a strong statement for you, particularly if you feel disconnected from your family/clan/network/tribe. And there are many facets to it… but the pure fact of it all is that we were born into a family system which gives us the right of belonging and a rightful place in this system.

We might choose other systems to be part of as we live life. The same applies to them.�And still, our origin holds a special place forever, and influences our path in some shape or form.

In Family Constellations, one important aspect is to include the excluded. By including everyone of a family system and giving them their rightful place does not mean we have to agree to who they were or what they did. For the system though it is essential to acknowledge and re-member everyone.��

This quote is from Bert Hellinger, the founder of Family Constellations, from his time living with the Zulu’s in Africa where he learned a lot about what influenced his body of work.
During our upbringing we go through different experiences that make us adapt our behaviours - in our early years to assure our survival.
It can be seen as layers being added onto our pure self and innocence, trying to protect our vulnerable heart.

It might take years or a lifetime to shed these layers through gaining awareness and bringing acknowledgment and acceptance to how our life shaped us.
Family Constellations supports this process in a gentle, honest way. The beauty of this modality is that it works on a different level, getting information through the body as a tool to experience and sense, rather than cognitively through the mind.
