Sometimes things land with a jolt, even when life is in a beautiful lane.

Actually, especially when life is in the sweet lane, because we will be tested over and over and over again.

By people.
By situations.
Just to see if we're still showing up.
To check if we wandered.

I've had a few jolty moments of sh*tty whispers in the winds this year.

Disappointing?
Yup!
Growth from it?
Absolutely!

I have a choice if I want to walk with the drama or allowing it not to enter my bones, acknowledge it, thank it for making a brief twirl, and let it swoosh by me, instead of through me.

Over 8 years of steering Open Hearts Mend with my 2 hands, intuition, a good dose of generosity, an overflowing heart and creation after creation.

I am so proud of this work in the most humblest of ways.

So excited for what is in front of us.
Supporting and supported.

And deeply thankful for those seen and unseen flanking me on the daily.

Resilience is a sweet sister,
so is integrity and trust.

Things don't land by luck.

“I keep remembering one of my Guru's teachings about happiness.

She says that people universally tend to think that happiness is a stroke of luck, something that will maybe descend upon you like fine weather if you're fortunate enough.

But that's not how happiness works.

Happiness is the consequence of personal effort.

You fight for it, strive for it, insist upon it, and sometimes even travel around the world looking for it.

You have to participate relentlessly in the manifestations of your own blessings.

And once you have achieved a state of happiness, you must never become lax about maintaining it, you must make a mighty effort to keep swimming upward into that happiness forever, to stay afloat on top of it.

If you don't you will eat away your innate contentment.

It's easy enough to pray when you're in distress but continuing to pray even when your crisis has passed is like a sealing process, helping your soul hold tight to its good attainments”

I allowed the shadow side of anger to support me sweetly, like a best friend would, in pouring it out, in setting new boundaries and standards, in letting go, until I emptied myself of all redundant debris,
of all the unsaid words,
unheard phrases and unfelt emotions.

I needed anger to help me love myself on a new level, to help me refocus and restructure who I was becoming.
A new lover to myself.
I very almost forgot everything about her, the minute I realised I might be giving too much outwards.

I had to set aside the Holy Lovely Girl and let her erupt like Goddess Pele, becoming the deepest, most passionate and explosive red hue of all volcanos.

Watching.
Observing.
Being.
Closely.
Listening.
Caringly.

To feel deeply into the message anger wanted to healthily carry through until it flowed freely was a frikkin liberating experience where it is usually rare and not in the true nature.

Little did I know what it would give me in return.
A whole new lease on being.
To ground on in.

This doesn't just feel like, but it IS the most valuable ingredient of freedom.

Equal Light to Dark 🖤🤍

There is a big beautiful bout of Kali Ma energy flowing through.
For some.
The kind & gentle Kali.
The all forgiving Kali.

So.
Don't dump her now.
And definitely don't dump ON her.

She's tender,
and her energy is raw and loaded with power.

A Revolution 🙏
A Lovelution 💘

A space where Light and Dark are being held together,
so very closely that it is almost difficult to differentiate.

Giving us a challenge and a chance to change, daring to look IT ALL fearlessly & fiercely in the eye, find and be the love behind the pain of life, transcending ego...from pride, selfishness, anger, desire...and so on.

Scattering it into particles of fine unseen dust.
Light needing dark & visa versa, where light always conquer, where dark brings the learning.

That which remains, will be aglow;
a tidal wave of a love-force strong enough to swiftly sweep anything or anyone off it's pedestal high.

All the excuses to all our karmas will be reduced to ashes.

Wow yes!
Why not!

Our hearts are being cupped and cradled as we melt down to our bones.

And so the highest level of care is being revealed as our hands are being held tightly through whatever "this" is, because in our hearts we do know.

Truly Broken Open 🩷
And in my humanness 🙌
Why NLP at this stage of my life?

Because it is never ever too late to find the surprising pieces in me that are holding me back.
However, these parts are not always obvious, and sometimes, we need to dig deep to find them, or they'll find us in a perfectly divine moment.

Often subtle and stirring, causing enormous ripples in the ways we are showing up in life with ourselves, our loved ones, our careers, health, wealth, and our daily ways of being, our purpose(s).

We all have our narratives, our endless and age-old stories that protect us, hold us, making us feel safe and strong (for various reasons) ....until.... the house of cards come tumbling down, and things start to show up in new ways 🙌

NLP is about how to use the language of the mind to consistently create and achieve our specific and desired outcomes.

If this work didn't discover me in the way that it did (as well as the other life modalities over the years), I possibly could have still been somewhere in my life where I didn't want to be.

And so I pivot and jump the precipices when I get ushered in having to do so....sometimes flexible, at other times, not so much.

Always and in every way, there are things to tweak and work with.

Showing up with willingness to shift the necessary and accept the things that are possibly still sitting dormant till it is time for them to show their faces as well, because there will always be "things"
