There was a time when our grandmothers knew the language of the plants.
They walked the hedgerows and gardens with baskets in hand, gathering nettle, dandelion, yarrow, and rosehips—not as weeds, but as trusted allies. They brewed teas for coughs, made poultices for cuts, and stirred pots that carried both nourishment and medicine.
These ways were not written in textbooks, but lived in kitchens, gardens, and quiet moments of observation. They were woven into the rhythms of the seasons and passed down through hands, stories, and care.
When we return to foraging, medicine making, and truly understanding the plants around us, we are remembering what they always knew—that healing begins in the home, in the garden, and in the land beneath our feet.
This is the heart of my work and the invitation of The Healing Cupboard: to bring these old ways back into your own life in simple, grounding, and beautiful ways. 🌿✨
Starts September 21st.
