Every October, we see the pink ribbons, the reminders, and the stories — and every year I tell myself “I’ll book my mammogram soon.” But im a busy working mum and life seems to always get in the way.

But this year… I finally did it. ✅

My appointment is locked in at Cooroy in two weeks, and I can’t tell you how good it feels to actually take that step.

Because knowing breast cancer exists isn’t enough — we have to act.

So this is your reminder from me to you:

Today I had the pleasure of running CPR training for the fabulous team Health Centre in Forest Glen.

It was fantastic to see GPs, nurses and even the admin team all stepping up, building their skills and confidence to respond in an emergency.

CPR really is a team effort – and this crew showed exactly how it’s done.

What a fabulous group today at my public CPR & First Aid class in Tewantin Noosa Pirates Rugby League Club.

We had such a wonderful mix of locals today — from an outrigger boat crew 🚣‍♀️, to a deck hand, and some incredible support workers 💪.

Many had enjoyed the course so much last year that they came back again — which makes it feel more like catching up with friends than running a class. 🥰

It’s always so special seeing our community come together, build confidence, and brush up on skills that really can save a life. Thanks for bringing the laughs, the energy, and the Noosa spirit! 🌴☀️
