Just out of the oven after 7hrs on low heat, my Greek lamb, sliced tomato, red onion, tzatziki and hot chips all wrapped in a Pita bread.

Back and open tomorrow from 7am till 2pm Mon to Fri

Cafe is restocked, the freezer is restocked, the sandwich bar will be restocked and we are ready to feed you.

Miss Effie's Kitchen Christmas orders have started coming in. Let us take some pressure off your Christmas Eve and Christmas Day family gatherings.
Delicious Greek Inspired meals, Greek salad and Greek desserts.
Many other yummy meals and salads to choose from as well.
Our cafe will be open on Monday 22nd and Tuesday 23rd December from 7am till 2pm. Pick up of meals will extend to 4pm on Monday and 3pm on Tuesday.

It's that crazy ( but awesome ) time of year again.
Christmas Day is fast approaching and our Christmas orders have started coming thru.
Limited Christmas Menu out tomorrow.
Our last day of trade for this year will be Tuesday 23rd December with our cafe closing at 2pm and orders to be picked up by 3pm.
We will be taking a well earned break and will reopen on Monday 12th January 2026

Miss Effie’s Kitchen is Hiring: one of our much loved team is returning home 😭, so we are on the lookout for our next Café All-Rounder ⭐️ (and we really do mean all rounder, there’s a bit of everything including working with our barista, so experience is preferred).

Hours & Availability
• Now until Dec 19: approx. 20 hours per week 10-2/2.30 Monday to Friday.
• From Jan 12 onward: 30–33 hours per week 8.30-230/2.45 Monday to Friday.
• Minimum 6 month commitment.

Who we’re looking for: someone with a positive, fun, can-do attitude, who has good communication and customer service skills. A willingness to learn and work as part of our team. Plus reliability and commitment to the role
