Noosa Bathing Reserve is a local law which prohibits certain craft from being used in front of Main Beach for the safety of all.

This includes Efoils.

Please do the right thing and avoid riding in this area. Local foiling groups have been working with other community groups (surfing, water safety,etc) to ensure foilers of all disciplines can enjoy Noosa’s waters where appropriate, however it quickly causes strain on those relationships when efoilers ride in this area.

If you see someone riding in the Bathing Reserve, please help to keep foiling alive in Noosa by waiting for them to exit and then having a polite chat with them.

If you have ridden in this area and not been approached by lifeguards, it’s not because it is ok to ride there. They will be taking account of your actions. Please don’t ruin it for everyone.

As efoilers we are on the outside a bit here and we need to be respectful and responsible of our actions.

At Fliteschool Noosa we’re always available to help with advise and educate riders on technique, but etiquette as well.
