Congratulations to our nine incredible team members who braved the elements on Friday to take part in Coastrek Sunshine Coast—walking 32km to raise vital funds for Beyond Blue.

Representing Ramsay Health Care with pride, the 'Banter Brigade' walked more than 45,000 steps and raised more than $5,400.

Well done to Emma, Nicole, Madison, Kara, Jess, Michelle, Kellie, Kylie and Meah!

🎉 30,000 patients and counting! 🎉

Today we celebrated a remarkable milestone for Rehabilitation Physician Dr Catherine Macintosh, who has now admitted more than 30,000 patients across Ramsay’s Noosa Hospital and Nambour Selangor Private Hospital.

Since 2016, Cath has been a deeply valued part of our team — known for her compassion, professionalism and her unwavering commitment to team-based care. She works closely with specialists and Allied Health teams to support each patient’s rehabilitation journey, and her impact has been felt by thousands across the Sunshine Coast.

Congratulations, Cath, and thank you for everything you do for our patients, teams and community. 💙

For more than 60 years, Ramsay’s nurses and midwives have shaped our story. They’ve been there through life’s most defining moments — welcoming new life, supporting recovery, and offering comfort at the end of life.

🌸 Great news for our community! 🌸

Breast cancer patients on the Sunshine Coast now have access to cutting-edge technology at Noosa Hospital, designed to make surgery more precise and recovery a little easier.

Breast and Endocrine Surgeon, Dr Felicity Adams, said offering this advanced system locally means patients won’t need to travel long distances for this type of care, helping to ease both the financial and emotional burden of treatment.

Honouring courage and sacrifice.

On 25 April, we pause to honour ANZAC Day—a national day of remembrance that marks the anniversary of the landing at Gallipoli in 1915 and pays tribute to all Australians and New Zealanders who have served—and continue to serve—in times of war, conflict, and peacekeeping.

ANZAC Day is a powerful reminder of the courage, resilience, and sacrifice of those who came before us. It’s also a time to reflect on the values they upheld—mateship, endurance, and compassion—which continue to shape our communities today.

At Ramsay, we’re proud to care for veterans, service members, and their families every day. Today, we thank them—and remember them.
