From the moment you walk in, our doctors and nurses work together to make sure you are well looked after, whether it is a quick check-up or something that needs a bit more time.

Many of you will already know Kerrie and Dr Dinusha. They are known for their friendly, down-to-earth approach and the way they make patients feel comfortable from the start.

If you need to see a GP this week, give us a call or book online. We can often offer same-day or next-day appointments, and you are always welcome to "walk in" and wait to be seen by the next available doctor if that suits too.

It has been such a beautiful long weekend. The weather has been great, and we hope you have had a chance to slow down and enjoy it.

Maybe you have even had a moment to catch up on a bit of life admin, and realised there are a few things you have been meaning to book in or sort out… like a check-up with your GP, organising a script, or getting something looked at.

Of course, things do not always go to plan either. You might be coming down with something or just not feeling quite right.

Flu season is approaching, and for over 65's, it can lead to more serious illness than just a few days feeling unwell.

That is why many people choose to get their flu shot each year, to help reduce the risk and stay well through the winter months.

💥 And the best part is that patients aged 6 months and over can access a free flu vaccination at Absolute Health & Skin Clinic as part of the Queensland Free Flu Vaccination Program. 💥

We are now running our Flu Clinic program where you can come in for a quick appointment to receive your flu shot. These bookings are made over the phone, so give our team a call and we will help find a time that suits.

And if you'd like to make an appointment to speak to one of our doctors about any other health concerns, we can book that in too. Bulk billing is available for patients over 65 with a current Aged Pension Card, and for children up to 16.

If you have young kids, you will know how quickly illness can spread through the whole household. The good news is there is another option for some children when it comes to flu protection.

Here are a few quick FAQs:

👉 What is the flu mist?
A simple nasal spray given into each nostril instead of an injection.

👉 Who is it for?
Children aged 2 to 5 years (before they turn 6).

👉 Does it work?
Yes. It helps protect against the flu in the same way as the injection.

👉 What if my child hates needles?
This can be a great alternative for some kids. Our team can help you decide what is suitable.

Flu shots are bulk billed for Queenslanders of all ages, and we also have this alternative option available for eligible children.

🤧 OUR FLU CLINIC IS NOW OPEN 🤧 Flu season is coming up, so let's get your flu shot sorted.

We are now running dedicated Flu Clinics with our doctors. These are short appointments available several times per week, making it easy to pop in and get it done quickly. And flu shots are bulk billed for all ages, making it easy for individuals and families to get protected.

Children from 6 months can be vaccinated, and if your child is not comfortable with needles, we do have another option that may be suitable for some patients. Our team can talk you through the options during your appointment.
