Position available - casual junior

We are looking for a casual, junior staff member for an immediate start. The shift is every Sunday 9.30am to 1pm plus an additional after school shift once a week (flexible day).

All training will be provided on site including the mandatory government training for pharmacy assistants.

We are looking for someone who is hard working, willing to learn and also has the maturity to handle the confidential nature of our business. We have a fun, flexible workplace in a respected profession, which is perfect for introducing young people to the workforce.

WINNER - SOUTH AUSTRALIAN PHARMACY ASSISTANT OF THE YEAR

We are thrilled to announce that Amy has been named as the South Australian pharmacy assistant of the year.

Amy beat nearly one hundred other nominees to reach the top ten. She then spent a gruelling seven hours being interviewed by a panel of judges, both individually and as a group. After testing her on a diverse range of subjects such as her clinical knowledge, her attitude towards pharmacists prescribing and the challenges facing community pharmacy, she was tonight announced the winner

Amy now goes to the Pharmacy Guild national conference where she will face off against the other state winners.

We are so incredibly proud of Amy and her achievement. She is truly deserving of this honour and it's wonderful to see her gain public recognition of her skills

Amy has worked in the pharmacy industry for twenty years and worked for Normanville Pharmacy for twelve. During those years she has done everything...dispensary, back office, front of shop and retail manager. Amy excels at everything she does but her true strength lies in her relationships with people. She manages to find a way to connect with everyone and to bring out the best in them. Everyone has a better day when they work with Amy!

Thank-you Ams for all that you have done for our business. We are beyond proud of you and what you have achieved.

We know that you are the last person to ever tell anyone about your accomplishments so we are going to do it for you!!

Good morning community!
With the scheduled power outage this morning affecting the pharmacy, we have made the following adjustments:
1. We will remain OPEN all day however for safety reasons, we cannot allow customers into the shop whilst we don't have lights
2. We will have a station at the door where staff can handle product requests and take in prescriptions
3. We can fill urgent prescriptions (anti-biotics etc) during the power outage however we request that all non-urgent prescriptions are collected after power resumes.
4. Unfortunately, the Lotto terminal will not be available during the power outage
