The Hard Truth About Filler…It doesn't lift—it fills!

Yes, filler can give you a “lifted” look when placed strategically, but it doesn't actually lift your tissue.

Filler can often get a bad rap for “pillow faces,” but when used conservatively, it can:
Restore volume to deflated fat pads (e.g., mid-cheek, tear trough).
Enhance bone structure (e.g., balancing a recessed chin).

Here’s what to consider:
Jowls: Masseter treatment can sometimes contribute to sagging if you’re predisposed to jowls.
Masculine vs. Feminine Look: It’s essential to align your treatment goals with your natural facial structure.
Over-treatment: Subtlety is key—less is often more. It can slim you too much throwing off facial balance.

PORT LINCOLN UPDATE: With increasing demand in Adelaide and some exciting times ahead for the clinic, I’ve made the difficult decision to adjust my Port Lincoln clinic visits from every 4-6 weeks to every 3 months.

This change ensures I can provide the same level of care and attention across both locations.

If your treatments are on a 3- or 6-month cycle, there may be a brief transition period to align schedules. To bridge the gap, don’t forget the importance of your at-home medical-grade skincare routine, and consider popping into The Skin Lab for a treatment—skin needling and and laser genesis are my personal favourites!
