Remote Island Missions

Remote Island Missions We built the 65ft Ketch 'Crystal Jane' to reach the remote and isolated Islands and people groups of the South Pacific.

R.I.M was birthed from a vision and dream to go the Islands of the South Pacific to bring the love of God to the people there, and work hands-on alongside the pastors and churches that need help in a practical way. Each one in the Body of Christ has a purpose and a function. 1 Cor. 12:27&28 mentions the gift of helps. If you have a desire to serve in a practical way through medical aid, teaching

aid, building, ministry in music or creative arts. You can also support us by purchasing our newly released autobiography titled 'Treasures in Jars of Clay'. (General overview: 'The book covers the adventures in the marriage and ministry of Bill and Yoka van den Brink. While reading their journey of building the boat in their backyard, transporting it, finishing it, and discovering the amazing things God wanted them to do thereafter, readers will find faith, hope, and perhaps just a bit of sea-yearning themselves.)

The boat has been undergoing some major changes in the past 18 months and although we had a diversities of set backs and expenses we are still eager to get back to the boat. My health is getting better. After some health issues I had an operation to remove my Gal bladder and had a hernia repair. I am on the road to recovery.
We are returning to the boat in August to continue on with the task ahead. Thank you all for your concern and prayers.

Well we did it, thanks to the many volunteers from Beachside Christian Fellowship and YWAM. The boat is all cleaned up and she goes real good again. Now the best part is to get the boat ready. We have about 3 months until the end of April, when the weather is more favorable, about the 29th of April 2016.
It is not too late to partner with us for support. Many hands make light work. If you like to commit to support us with as little as $2., $3., or $4. per week it will make all the difference between going or staying..... ANZ

Just returned from a rebuild Vanuatu trip and saw the most beautiful and thankful people on earth.
The Christian School we stayed at were feeding over 600 meals twice per day for about three months.
I helped the team of 9 men from Port Stephens to put roofs back on houses, ministered to people and blessed many. There is much more work to be done and realized the need for our boat to be there please help us to be a blessing to the those in need.

Raising the new mizzen mast took a while but got it done using the old mast and a lot of engineering and a bit of help to get it up. Now we have take everything of the old mast and put it onto the new mast. This is probably the part where we need a bit of help.
