We've been pretty quiet on here lately....

We've been focusing on our Post natal V-Hab program and mumming, to name a few distractions.

But it doesn't mean we're not here!

We've decided to open up our online program to all Pregnant women for just a tiny admin fee

WHY? Well evidence proves a healthier mum = a healthier bub.

We really want all pregnant ladies to stay moving, stay or get strong and healthy, find some like minded ladies and exercise safely at an extremely affordable price.

Thats exactly want our program is - Run by Exercise Physiologists, our sessions are safe and appropriate for pregnant bodies. We have a private facebook group for all your camaraderie, motivation and learnings of how to better manage your pregnant body for the best outcome for you and your growing bub.

Last night our 8week challenge crew celebrated (with some side plank clam thrusts Mandy Millan🤣)

We celebrated:

💪 strength and fitness they’ve gained

👯‍♀️ the new friends made

🙋‍♀️that despite having babies and no sleep that they can do anything

🤘 celebrated doing something for themselves and regaining their confidence back

🦸‍♀️celebrated being women

There are prolapses, birth trauma, plenty of expats living here with no family support, just to name a few obstacles, for the ladies in this group. But these ladies committed to doing something for them and their health which in turn is doing something for their family wellbeing.

We exercised safely thanks to the urgency, assistance and detailed advice of Central Coast PhysioLates Luna Physiotherapy and Forever Young Physiotherapy. Girls that haven’t run in years are now running! Some hated exercise and were scared of group training are now thriving!

We could go on forever with how cool it is seeing the changes in these special people but we’ll leave it there.

Love your work ladies 👊💪💗

We can’t wait to do it all again for another group soon.

CONSTIPATION --> FIBRE

Along with nausea, heartburn and fatigue, constipation is one of those symptoms you expect to experience at some stage during pregnancy.

The main reason constipation occurs during pregnancy is an increase in the hormone progesterone, which relaxes smooth muscle and causes food to move through the digestive tract more slowly. As your baby grows, the pressure of your uterus can also compound the problem.
As you know, fibre plays a vital role in proper digestive function. But did you know that for pregnant women, fibre demands increase to 28g per day?
Here’s how you can you sneak some extra fibre into your diet: 🔹Always choose wholegrains over processed grains
🔹Add a tablespoon of chia, flax, sunflower or pumpkin seeds to smoothies and porridge or sprinkle over avocado toast
🔹Drink plenty of water to prevent dehydration and keep everything moving (9 cups/ 2.3L is ideal)
🔹Aim for 5 cups of colourful veggies per day
🔹Move regularly - talk to your Healthy Bumps professional!
