Did you know that November is Men's Mental Health Awareness Month?
Today we're talking about checking in on our Dads' Mental Health!
Being a new dad can be one of the biggest changes in life — full of love, pride, and joy, but also pressure, worry, and tired days. As your kids get older, there can be different kinds of worries and pressure.
For many Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander men, it can feel hard to talk about what’s going on inside.
But having a yarn, reaching out, or just letting someone know you’re struggling — that’s a strong move. Mental health affects all of us. It’s okay to ask for help, to take a break, and to lean on your brothers, uncles, Elders, and mates.
Let’s keep the conversations going and remind all dads they’re not alone. 💬👣
