We’re thrilled to welcome Specialist Paediatrician Dr Ahmed Khan to Intuition Private, starting Thursday 4 September.

With over 20 years of paediatric experience, including his ongoing work at Gosford Hospital and former role as Head of Paediatrics at the hospital, Dr Khan brings expertise across ALL ages.

He has a focus on behavioural concerns, developmental needs, and complex conditions, including childhood ADHD diagnosis protocols.

Many families on the Central Coast face long waitlists or travel long distances for expert paediatric care. At Intuition Private, there will be no initial waiting list, ensuring your child receives timely care when it’s needed most. Dr Khan will be seeing patients 1–2 days per week.

Today marks the start of NAIDOC Week for 2025 and 50 years of NAIDOC.

We are ready to celebrate and recognise the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples at our 27th annual Central Coast NAIDOC Community Day:

Help is available if menopause symptoms are interfering with your quality of life.

As a first step, please arrange an appointment with your GP.

It is helpful to complete the menopause symptom checklist and take it along with you to your GP appointment.

If your symptoms are severe and complex, talk to your doctor about being referred to our CCLHD Menopause Service.

You can also self-refer for an initial consultation with the service by calling 1300 725 565.

The nurse and physiotherapist-led service will work in partnership with your GP, to improve your quality of life and symptom management through the menopause transition.
