Dr Amrou Metawa Dr Metawa specialises in Obstetrics, pregnancy & labour care at both Gosford Private & Public Hospitals.

Dr Metawa is dedicated to providing care in high risk pregnancy, VBAC (Vaginal birth after caesarean section) & vaginal breech delivery. He will encourage you to have a normal vaginal delivery & guide you through any decision regarding your pregnancy. Dr Metawa is also a consultant specialist in Gynaecology he treats -

There is minimal waiting time to be booked for an appointment for Antenatal care, Gynaecology or any surgical procedure.

We are welcoming Ebony and Lindsay from Dundee University, Scotland who are in there final year as medical students. They will be here with Dr Metawa for 6 weeks, and are looking forward to meeting our beautiful patients. :)

As you may have heard Gosford Private Hospital have made the decision to close their Maternity Unit as of 31st March 2025.
We are very sad to hear this news for the women on the Central Coast.
We want to reassure you that our commitment to offering the same care and passionate support remains the same and we are committed to you, our patients.
The quality of your experience will remain the same and Gosford Public Hospital is a great facility and has always provided for our patients with a high standard of care.
