Ever wondered when most babies are born in Australia? According to the ABS, September is the big one, mid to late September babies are officially the “Christmas holiday babies,” born after all those festive season celebrations in December! 🎄👶

It seems a lot of Aussie parents were busy in the festive spirit… and their little bundles decided to make an entrance about nine months later. 😅

Knowing the difference between Braxton Hicks and true labour contractions can be confusing, especially as you get closer to your due date. Braxton Hicks, often called "practice contractions," are irregular, don't increase in intensity, and tend to fade away when you change position or activity. They are your body's way of getting ready for the real thing.

On the other hand, true labour contractions are more predictable. They come at regular intervals, get progressively stronger, and last for a longer duration. They won't go away when you move around. This is your body's signal that it's time to meet your baby!
