Temp Medical Receptionist Required
Casual/vacation position available for a 4 week contract in September 2023 with hours varying depending on the specialist’s schedule.
We are a busy orthopaedic clinic located in North Lakes 4509.
Medical receptionist experience is essential and a background with theatre bookings is preferred.
Your focus will be to
• Be a team player, have a strong work ethic and be patient focused.
• Welcome patients and visitors to the practice.
• Answer phones and email enquiries.
• Schedule patient appointments.
• Process and action new referrals.
• Clinic invoicing, including online Medicare/DVA patient claims, WorkCover QLD and other Third-Party compensation companies.
• Quoting for surgery and scheduling theatre bookings
• Clinic 2 Cloud experience is an advantage

Today we welcome Dr Craig Winter, Neurosurgeon and Spinal Surgeon to our rooms. Dr Winter is a Senior Neurosurgeon working at the Brisbane Private Hospital and the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital and is a Senior Lecturer in Surgery at the University of Queensland. Operations are performed at the Brisbane Private Hospital and the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital and a comprehensive service for both private and public adult patients across a wide range of conditions including cerebrovascular, degenerative spine, brain tumours, hydrocephalus, periperal nerve, cranial and spinal trauma is provided. A warm Welcome to Dr Adam Teo from QLD Dental Sleep Therapy. Dr Adam Teo graduated with his dental degree from Griffith University in 2010 and has been on a mission to help patients in every way possible since. After taking a special interest in the field of dental sleep medicine and undergoing additional training, Adam has shifted his career focus in the past 6 years to the treatment of patients suffering from obstructive sleep apnoea and snoring issues with mandibular advancement splints (oral appliances).

He takes pride in engaging all healthcare practitioners involved in this specialized area and to provide patients with exceptional service, compassion and integrity so that they are empowered to seek the optimal treatment options available. Adam is currently undertaking his Masters of Science in Sleep Medicine degree through the University of Sydney as he commits to keeping up to date with the latest evidence-based research to continue his high standard of care.
