Our EOM Miss Debbie using her powers for good! 🪄✨👸🏼

The crown has been a hit with all this month, Jackson used it with the volcano lamp to support his emotional regulation. The next pic is of J being proud of his completed puzzle, he asked to take a pic to show his dad. This was after not wanting to complete a 9 piece puzzle, well done Jackson. OT using various tools and items to assist with emotional regulation and grading activities assists with growing a little persons confidence and self esteem.

Hi, I’m Keisha, a new Occupational Therapist here at Sunshines! I’m super excited to be joining the team and have already felt so welcomed. I’ve recently moved from country NSW to sunny Queensland and am loving the change.
I’m passionate about supporting clients to learn, grow, and build their independence and confidence across different stages of life. My areas of interest include sensory integration and exploring different ways sensory systems can be supported to help individuals thrive.

When I’m not at work, you’ll usually find me walking my dog Leddi, at the gym, catching up with friends and family, or out exploring Queensland 🌞🐾
