If only our bodies could be nourished at super speed too. ๐Ÿ˜‰

But real life doesnโ€™t work like that.
And neither does yoga.

We might rush through our days.
Rush our meals.
Rush our rest.
Rush past the little signals our body is sendingโ€ฆ

โ€ฆbut healing, settling, and coming back to ourselves asks for something different.

It asks us to slow down.

Yoga was never meant to be another thing to race through.
Itโ€™s a practice of listening.
Of softening.
Of breathing.
Of creating space for your body to feel supported.

Thatโ€™s why each week I share a free 45-minute uplifting yoga class, along with gentle wellness advice rooted in Ayurveda and holistic health โ€” to help you support your body in a way that feels grounding, nourishing, and real.

If that sounds like the kind of support you need right now, you can subscribe to my emails using this link: https://www.tracyambler.com/subscribe

๐Ÿ’› Slowing down isnโ€™t falling behind.
Sometimes itโ€™s exactly what helps us feel better.

Save this for tonight: a simple Ayurvedic reset for sleep + digestion

If your mind feels busy at nightโ€ฆ
If you wake between 2โ€“3amโ€ฆ
If your belly feels heavy, bloated, or unsettled by the end of the dayโ€ฆ

Start with an evening ritual.

Not with a long routine.
Not with more pressure.
Just with one calming shift.

My gentle Ayurvedic reminder this week is this:

Your evening rhythm shapes more than your sleep.
It also supports your digestion, your nervous system, and how grounded you feel in yourself.

A simple evening ritual might look like:

โ€ข a warm dinner instead of cold, rushed meals
โ€ข switching off stimulation earlier
โ€ข a few slow breaths before bed
โ€ข choosing softness over productivity

This is the kind of support so many women need right now.
Not more extremes.
Not more conflicting advice.
Just simple practices that feel nourishing, calming, and doable in real life.

Your digestion isnโ€™t what it used to be.
You feel dry, depleted, anxious, or just disconnected from the grounded, vibrant woman you know you are deep down.

If you're in a season of life where your body and energy are shifting, it's not a flaw, it's an invitation.

You thought you needed more caffeineโ€ฆ

But you actually needed nervous system rest.

You thought you needed more disciplineโ€ฆ

But you actually needed to feel safe in your body.

You thought Savasana was the โ€œlazyโ€ partโ€ฆ

But itโ€™s the part that rebuilds your energy.

Ayurveda calls it restoring ojas โœจ

Your body calls it finally exhaling.

Stay for Savasana.
It might be the most productive thing you do all day.

19/02/2026

The most loved yoga pose burns ZERO caloriesโ€ฆ and heals your nervous system.

Savasana looks like doing nothing.
But from an Ayurvedic lens, it is where the magic happens.

โœจ It lowers cortisol
โœจ Rebuilds ojas (your vitality reserve)
โœจ Calms excess vata dosha
โœจ Supports hormone balance
โœจ Helps your body absorb the practice

In a world that tells women to push harder, Savasana whispers something radical:

You donโ€™t have to earn rest.

If Savasana is your favourite pose, your nervous system is asking for healing, not laziness.

Tonight, try 5 minutes lying still.
No phone. No noise. Just breath.

Comment REST if youโ€™re in.
Share this with a friend who needs permission to slow down ๐Ÿค

It might not be discipline youโ€™re missing.
It might be rhythm.

So many women are trying to fix their energy, sleep, and hormones by doing more โ€” when what their body really needs is to come back into sync.

Thatโ€™s why I created my free guide, Live in Sync.

Itโ€™s a gentle introduction to:
โ€ข Supporting your energy naturally
โ€ข Improving sleep through rhythm
โ€ข Working with your body instead of against it

Letโ€™s stop pushing and start listening. ๐Ÿค

If youโ€™re waking in the night, lying awake
with a busy mind, or feeling tired but wired, youโ€™re not
alone, and youโ€™re not doing anything wrong.

Midlife brings changes to hormones, stress levels and
nervous system sensitivity, and sleep is often the first
place we notice it.

Before turning to medication, thereโ€™s a lot we can do
through simple lifestyle adjustments that support the
bodyโ€™s natural rhythms:
โœ”๏ธ consistent evening routines
โœ”๏ธ morning sunlight
โœ”๏ธ gentle movement
โœ”๏ธ calming the nervous system
โœ”๏ธ nourishing meals that support blood sugar

Better sleep at this stage of life isnโ€™t about trying
harder. Itโ€™s about creating the right conditions and
letting your body feel safe enough to rest.

Iโ€™ve shared more on this in my email this week. Check
your inbox and tell me below: whatโ€™s the hardest part of
sleep for you right now?

Fasting is everywhere. But it doesnโ€™t work the same way for everyone.

From an Ayurvedic perspective, fasting isnโ€™t about skipping meals or pushing long windows. Itโ€™s about creating space for digestion so the body can reset without stress.

One of the simplest Ayurvedic practices is leaving 4โ€“5 hours between meals and avoiding constant snacking. For many women, this alone supports energy, digestion and blood sugar far more gently than restrictive fasting.

Ayurveda also reminds us that fasting tolerance varies:
โ€ข Vata types do best with gentle, short fasts
โ€ข Pitta types with moderate fasting
โ€ข Kapha types may tolerate longer windows when hormones and stress are stable

Another beautiful option is a Kitchari cleanse. A warm, nourishing mono-diet that rests digestion while still providing deep nourishment. This can be especially supportive during stress, fatigue, or perimenopause and menopause.

If youโ€™d like personalised guidance, Iโ€™m offering 1:1 Ayurvedic wellness consults ๐Ÿ’› February special: Initial consult $99 | Follow-ups $66

Your mind wandering doesnโ€™t mean meditation isnโ€™t working.
It means youโ€™re human.

Last weekend, a meditation retreat reminded me that the breath is the anchor, especially when attention drifts.

I was challenged to meditate with my eyes open (not my usual!), and it brought a surprising sense of presence and grounded awareness. Less checking out. More now.

Every time the mind wanders, gently returning to the breath is the practice.

Have you tried meditating with your eyes open?
Or are you firmly team eyes-closed?

You might be eating all the โ€œrightโ€ things, but if your meals are rushed, reheated, or eaten on the go, you could be missing out on prana (life force energy).

Through Ayurveda and yoga, Iโ€™ve learned that how we cook and eat matters just as much as whatโ€™s on our plate. Small shifts like cooking fresh, eating warm, and slowing down, can make a big difference to your digestion, mood, and energy.

โœจ Cook with love.
โœจ Eat with presence.
โœจ Nourish your life force.
