Unbound Athletic offers 2

4 CrossFit classes and an aditional 13 classes in HIIT, GRIT, Strength and Skills as well as over 70 hours of open gym each week. We also offer personalised programs, nutrition coaching, 1 on 1 personal training and supervised creche to suit the individual needs of all of our members.

DOMS… aka “why does sitting on the toilet feel like a full workout?” 😅

🔧 How to actually recover (and not just suffer through it)

1. Move: light movement is king.
Think:
* Easy bike / row
* Walk
* Light session at 50–60%
Blood flow = faster recovery

2. Hydrate like an adult
Muscles need fluid to repair.
If you’re dehydrated, you’re basically slowing everything down.

3. Protein + carbs
You broke it down → now rebuild it.
* Protein = repair
* Carbs = refill energy + support recovery

4. Sleep (the cheat code)
This is where the magic happens.
No sleep = no recovery.

Your goal is to adapt so that same session feels easy next time.

It’s a structured, coach-led progression with Mitch & Kiera—breaking down exactly what you need to do, whether you’re chasing your first rep or refining your movement under fatigue.

Pull-ups.
Handstands.
Broken down properly. Built back up stronger.

🔹 Block 1: Rig Work (10–12pm)
Pull-ups, kipping, control, strength

🔹 Block 2: Handstands (1–3pm)
Positions, balance, confidence upside down

Then you leave with a 4-week program so this actually sticks.
