As part of our ongoing community support, Sovereign Funerals had the honour of restoring the remembrance plaque at Peninsula Palms Retirement Village, Rothwell.
You can see that the original plaque, first unveiled in 2012, was barely decipherable for this years ANZAC service but now it has been restored to its former glory.

As a Non-Profit Funeral Company, Sovereign Funerals always seeks new opportunities to partner with organisations locally and abroad. Commencing January 2025, Sovereign Funerals is pleased to partner with Home of Hope Liberia.

Home of Hope brings girls out of poverty off the street in Liberia, West Africa. Many are pregnant and abandoned, many with babies already. Some come out of prostitution. Many arrive beaten and abused. Many are the victims of r**e.

Home of Hope provides these vulnerable ladies and their babies:
• A safe place of shelter and food
• General medical treatment and prenatal care
• Safe and supportive programs to facilitate healing from trauma
• Vocational Training to provide access to ongoing employment and income-generating opportunities

Meet Trevor - Manager of Sovereign Funerals
My greatest privilege is to be allowed the opportunity to come alongside families at a time of crisis and to walk with them through the difficult process of saying goodbye to someone they love. My goal is to be a calming presence, and to take some of the stress out of an extremely stressful situation. While a funeral is a time to say goodbye, its also an opportunity to celebrate a life, and I find great joy in helping families to plan the perfect service for their loved one.

I have served in the funeral industry for more than 14 years and I started Sovereign Funerals in 2012 while serving as the Managing Director of the Interseed Foundation.

I love to spend time with my wife, children, and their families. I especially love to have time with my Grandchildren. I enjoy long drives to new destinations, and I love to relax with a cold drink while enjoying the sight and sounds of my large collection of birds.
