Soulful Ayurveda Discover your true health potential with the ancient healing system of Ayurveda

I'm Anna, an Ayurvedic Practitioner and I aim to support women to find the most practical path to better health. Each of us is individual in our body-type, our mind-set and our health situation. Ayurveda is unique in that it provides individualised and comprehensive guidance for each person in a completely holistic manner. I offer Ayurvedic health consultations either face to face or online, then

work with you to implement a specialised plan incorporating diet guidelines, lifestyle regimes and ayurvedic herbal medicines. I also offer authentic Ayurvedic therapies to support your healing journey, from my clinic in Mackay, North Queensland. By applying Ayurvedic wisdom to our lives, we can unlock the true health and happiness potential that we are all inherently entitled too. This ancient knowledge is still completely relevant in today’s society and can empower us to navigate our way through life by making the right choices to make positive change to our health.

A heartfelt goodbye to my dear friend and Ayurvedic soul sister, Marg from Marigold Ayurveda. 🌼

Marg has offered an incredible service to our community, touching many lives with the healing wisdom of Ayurveda. Marg is heading down south to begin a new chapter. You will be greatly missed — not just as a practitioner, but as a beautiful presence and colleague. I'm especially grateful for all the treatment swaps we've shared over the years — a rare gift in a town with so few Ayurvedic practitioners!

I'm also honoured to carry forward a little piece of Marg’s practice — her stunning traditional wooden dhroni table, carved from medicinal mango wood. It’s truly a work of art, and I look forward to offering many healing therapies on it in the years ahead.

Wishing you all the very best, Marg, on your new journey. May you continue to be blessed with the guiding light of Ayurveda wherever you go. 🌿💛

Rooted in Change 🌳✨

After thoughtful consideration, I’m excited to share that this Ayurveda space is now 'Soulful Ayurveda'.🌿💚

This new name still expresses what has always guided my offering to you: a grounded, nurturing, and science-informed approach to women’s health—especially supporting nervous system reset, hormonal balance and digestive health through Ayurveda.

Soulful Ayurveda continues to reflect the same core values and deep alignment with nature, healing, and holistic living. It’s just a little easier to remember and share—and I like the vibration of the word soulful – the soul is our real identify and to nurture the soul is healing in the truest sense.

The giant tree in this pic reminds me of the importance of a having a strong foundation that holds everything together, as things are always shifting and changing around us. These strong roots can be found in the sacred wisdom of Yoga and Ayurveda, that has been passed down for thousands of years. We can use this sacred knowledge to heal our minds and bodies and to understand that our true nature, the soul, is spiritual in essence, the body and mind are just a changing passing show. True health and happiness lies in a connection of love between us, the individual soul or atma, and the Supreme Soul.

Thank you for being part of this journey. I’m so grateful to continue walking this path with you.🙏

With love,
Anna

✨ Reflect • Restore • Reset ✨ Sound on!

In our busy lives, it's easy to ignore the subtle signals that our body and mind may need some attention. Even taking a few moments each day to pause, reflect, and tune in, we create space for true healing and renewal.

If switching off to the outside noise feels difficult, immerse yourself in transcendental sound. This simple mantra breathing meditation can help bring clarity and give you a little reset in amongst all busyness of your day. Try this:

🌿 Breathe in deeply
🌿 As you breathe out, slowly say: Gaur-ra-ang-gaaa
🌿 Repeat this a few times, or as long as you feel you need

With more awareness we can have clarity to make choices that address our real needs rather than just reacting to what is going on around us.✨💛

✨ A Truly Unique Gift for the Women You Love ✨

This Christmas, give the gift of an Ayurvedic Massage, the perfect way for your loved ones to feel deeply cared for.💝

Ayurvedic massage isn’t just any massage—it’s a sacred practice that nurtures body, mind & soul:

🌿 Full-body care, including the head and hair
🌿 Traditional medicated oils infused with healing herbs
🌿 Flowing, nurturing strokes to stimulate circulation
🌿 Release of marma points to move stagnant energy
🌿 Deep reset of the nervous system to bring calm and peace

Send me a DM if you would like to purchase a gift voucher for a woman you know needs it. 🙂

Crimes against wisdom (prajnaparadha) means wilfully ignoring one’s inner knowing or going against our intuition and common sense. The system of Ayurveda guides us back to a place of awareness of our real, inherit needs. We can then be empowered to make good choices on a daily basis so our health & vitality can thrive and we can have real purpose. This human form of life is a precious gift. ❤️

"So this human form of life is specially meant for cultivation of spiritual knowledge. "🙏

In my happy place. 💙💦💛🌞

What we feed our body through the senses will either nourish us or deplete us. Being out in nature is nourishing to the cells and calming to the mind - the best medicine. 💚🌿 In this more sattvic, or mode of goodness state we can feel more invigorated & have more clarity. Ultimately then we can really hear the Supreme Absolute Truth within our heart, feel the presence of the Supreme Source and feel that love through which we are connected. 💕

“A true yogi observes Me in all beings and also sees every being in Me. Indeed, the self-realized person sees Me, the same Supreme Lord, everywhere.” Bhagavad-gita 6.29 🙏🙏🙏

Okra is in season up here in the tropics! A delicious and versatile vegetable, traditionally it is cooked in curries but lately I'm loving it baked until crispy. Okra is packed with nutrients, is energising for the bones and also will help regulate the bowels due to it's subtle laxative effect. It's tri-doshic meaning it's good for all body-types. Not everything is good for everyone but the main thing to remember is everything in moderation is key when it comes to diet. Thank you to the Supreme Creator for providing us with vegetables to keep us healthy and for giving us the ancient wisdom of Ayurveda to understand how food can be our medicine. ❤️

Winter tips #3 Add Ginger to your life! 🌿💚

We just discovered our ginger crop is bursting and ready to be picked and used for healing in our kitchen. Ginger is often described as a universal medicine. As the weather starts to warm up, any congestion that has built up in the body over the colder months, will start to melt, causing those late winter/early spring colds and flus. Fresh ginger root can be grated and made into tea, or added liberally to your meals for some spicy warmth, and to help with digestion and respiratory imbalances.😊💛
