This year I’ve been moving gently…
Still reweaving myself after a year of big initiations that truly blew me apart 🤪🔥
🌀 Making each day devotional
🌀 Trusting deeper than ever before
🌀 Letting go of what isn’t in alignment
🌀 Opening space for what truly expands me 🦋
This year is my 50th cycle around the sun ☀️
Deep in the initiations of Sage Essence… (Peri@menopause)
and my Chiron return 💫🤪🤪🤪 weeeeeeeeeeeee
And beside me… my daughter, in her 12th cycle, stepping into her Menarche 🌹
Two thresholds.
Mother and daughter… walking it together.
this year was about reweaving.
I’ve stepped into a year-long Shamanic Womancraft journey… deepening into the rites of passage of woman ⭕️
In my first journey I birthed my 5th Medicine Drum…
My first Kangaroo drum — a deep honouring of this land 🌹
Receiving her from the creek… placing her on my heart like a newborn… was something I’ll never forget ♥️
To be in that birthing space…
30 women…
30 drums…
30 heartbeats…
The rhythm of creation moving through all of us…
It was… beyond words.
This Kangaroo drum feels like a deep bow to this land that has raised me…
this Australian soil that has shaped my bones…
While my Deer drums…
carry the whispers of my birth lands…
the medicine of my ancestors…
the lineage that lives in my blood 🦌
Both… held.
Both honoured.
Both alive within me.
And my girl… has begun her own journey…
Coming home writing songs, drawing, creating 💓
The boys too… out working on the land, riding, building fires 🔥
All of us… being initiated in our own ways.
It reminds me how important this is…
To honour our thresholds
To be held as we fall apart and rebuild
To stay close to the Earth… her moons, her seasons, her cycles 🌕
And to care for her… as we learn to care for ourselves 🌿
