COVID-19 is in the community and if you haven’t already caught it, the likelihood is you or someone close to you will. Here is some practical advice to help you prepare.

COVID-19 vaccinations for children aged 5-11 will be starting this week around the country. Unfortunately, our anticipated delivery of vaccines has not yet arrived. For those that are on the waiting list- be reassured that you will be contacted once stock does arrive and vaccination clinics will be opened up. We anticipate dose 1 in the coming week. Thank you for your patience.

Understandably there's lots of hesitation from many about COVID -19 vaccination. With eligibility now open to many more people for Pfizer COVID-19 vaccination, this seems to have added to the mix of confusion. What is right for me, and should I wait 'til I can have a Pfizer (even if it takes another 2 or 3 months). What is the likelihood of getting a clot from AZ? Are they safe in pregnancy and for breastfeeding?

All vaccines (and medicines for that matter) have risks. Understanding your risk and weighing it up against the benefit of vaccination will help you make an informed decision about how to proceed. But if you continue to have difficulty, we are available to discuss your concerns and answer your questions.
