Gardener & Home Maintenance Support Worker
Parkview Community Care is a progressive and client-focused Support at Home provider dedicated to helping older Australians maintain their independence and continue living safely in their own homes.
We are currently seeking a reliable, motivated and hands-on team member to join our growing organisation in a rewarding community-based role. This position supports clients through gardening and minor home maintenance services, helping them live comfortably and safely at home.
This opportunity is based at Parkview Community Care and is offered two days per week (Thursdays and Fridays).
Parkview will supply a company vehicle and the tools required to complete all assigned tasks.
About the Role
You will build positive, respectful relationships with older clients while delivering practical support that genuinely improves their quality of life.
Key Responsibilities
Gardening Duties
• Lawn mowing and edging
• Light pruning
• Weeding and general garden tidy-ups
Minor Home Maintenance
• Gutter cleaning
• Window cleaning
• General minor property maintenance tasks
Essential Criteria
• Physically fit, energetic and capable of manual work
• Reliable, punctual and self-motivated
• Willing to undertake hands-on tasks
Mandatory Requirements
• Current Driver’s License
• Current and valid National Police Clearance
• Evidence of right to work in Australia
